We cater to our clients’ holistic needs.
Independence may be achieved when one has the tools and skills to address their needs in different life areas. For this reason, we offer individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities independent living support so they may learn, develop, and retain these skills at their own pace. Apart from skill-building, clients may also enjoy home and community services where they will have support in accessing resources that help further their goal of maintaining independence and addressing their various needs.
Our staff members provide skill building and support to individuals in the following areas:
- Stability in the home and community in the absence of a primary caregiver
- Community participation and inclusion in meaningful activities
- Socialization and maintaining relationships
- Maintaining health, safety, and fitness
- Decision making and self-determination
- Improving skills with ADLs and IADLs
- Transportation to and from community locations and resources
